F.C. Hubbell, a prominent Des Moines businessman, was the oldest child of Frederick Marion and Frances Cooper Hubbell. A life long resident of Des Moines, Hubbell married Mary Belle Windsor in 1889. The couple had 2 children, Frederick Windsor and James Windsor. After running his own company, F.C. Hubbell & Co., Frederick partnered with his father and his uncle (H.D.
